Forward Assault

Alright this my first rpg, well my first creation of a rpg here. Anyways Death I hope you don't get mad, but I'm just gonna use most of your opening post as I'm not good with that stuff.

Setting:
June 6, 1944
Over Normandy

Rules:
Players are to be British, and in the 6th Airbourne
Players can use a fallen comrades weapon but must return it after an engagement. If player is still alive
Enemy weapons may be used if a player wishes to use them.
No godmodding.
Everyone gets a Colt and the weapon that comes with their chosen role.

Trait: Very friendly and confident. Not very keen on killing but he has to.
Background: The offspring of a train driver and a civil cleaner David progressed through school and college and trained to be an Engineer. When war broke out David immediantly joined.

Bleh, no Axis or Soviet RPGs. At least it's not another of the American RPGs these days. I suppose you'll want to change the Garands to Lee-Enfields, the Thompsons could be Sten Guns and the BAR could be Brens. I'll be an Automatic Rifleman.

Background: He was freakishly tall at school but didn't have a reputation to fight so was well respected. He was offered an opportunity to join the Tank army but refused, preferring to be in the infantry.

Weapon of Choice: Bren/Any captured/dropped weapon he finds when faced with a specific task that needs the weapon he finds.
Trait: Experienced, Fearless and Utmostly Brave. He is a Skilled soldier who will fight to the end but tends to shy away and ignore Replacements. Fights best in squad conditions.
Background: As a kid Robert dreamed of being the owner of his father's popular business. Friendly and forgiving, he was moving up in the world and became a High quality shop owner, earning shed loads of money. When the War started, he immediately joined the British Army stationed in Dunkirk. He undergoed a big change of heart and personality after battle, after losing many friends. Now he's in the Airbourne, he's ready avenge his friend's deaths and serve for King and Country.

Trait: Friendly, experienced, humorous guy, fights to the end and follows orders. Skilled Marksman and expert in like stealthy missions and squad support. He will do anything to help his squad, i.e. find a way to kill the MG gunner suppressing the squad etc.
Background: When he was young he dreamed of becoming an elite soldier. He was born in Puerto Rico and lived in the U.S., but moved to England afterwards. He became more interested in the military when his father told him stories from WWI. When war broke out he joined the Army rising through the ranks and eventually earning his stripes and joined the 6th Airbourne as a marksman.
